Senet is an ancient Egyptian board game dating back 4,000 years. In addition to a popular game played across ancient Egyptian society, the game gained important religious meaning, acting as an interactive metaphor for the challenges people faced in the afterlife. Join Penn Museum experts as they play senet and talk about ancient Egyptian society, culture, and religion.
